Back to Finding Faith
Trauma often arrives without warning, leaving behind a landscape that feels unfamiliar and frightening. In these moments, many people question their faith or feel as though it has vanished entirely. This is not a failure; it’s a human response to deep pain.
Faith during trauma is not about pretending everything is okay. Instead, it is about acknowledging what has been broken and allowing yourself space to heal. Sometimes faith looks like a whispered prayer. Other times, it simply looks like getting out of bed.
Healing begins with honesty — naming your hurt, recognizing your needs, and giving yourself permission to feel. As strength returns, faith can slowly rebuild itself. Pieces may shift, perspectives may change, but what grows from the rubble can be deeper, more compassionate, and more resilient than before.
